The Upper Room Revisited

This week's Bible lesson begins with John's account of the passage we studied last week from Luke's gospel (Luke 24:36-49). However, John brings to our attention a part of the story untold by Luke. As we will find out, one of the disciples was not present. We learn his story in this week's study.

Symbols of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the most difficult member of the Trinity to define. How do you describe a spirit? The good news is that the third member of the Trinity has introduced himself to us in a variety of expressive and beautiful symbols by which we can understand the nature of the Spirit's work in our lives.
