Gath, Hometown of Goliath

There's irony here. David, once the hero of Israel, was fleeing for his life. Where did he go? To the hometown of the giant he had killed years before, whose death had catapulted David to fame--to Gath, hometown of Goliath. What was this city like? Who was the king? And why did David flee here of all places when he began his life on the run from Saul? The answers to these questions and more are explained in this week's article.
